Women who love Jesus and love to follow fashion face turmoil in their soul each time they venture into their closets, shop their local retailer or surf social media. The seductive lure of glitz and glam, excess and androgyny, not to mention the constant worldly pressure to look young and sexy can wreak havoc in our minds and souls. It can be difficult to be true to yourself as a Christian woman and not appear overmodest, boring or past our prime. Isn’t following fashion and buying clothes an exercise in ego building and vanity? AND, are Christians really supposed to care about exterior, superficial things like fashion? The truth is that we need to care, because humankind needs modern Christian women who can present themselves confidently in the current world while witnessing to the eternal saving grace and divine mercy of Jesus Christ.
